Fire Extinguished At Condo Complex In Wallingford
Crews quickly knocked down a fire at a condominium complex in Wallingford, according to officials.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Crews quickly knocked down a fire at a condominium complex Thursday night in Wallingford, according to officials.
Firefighters responded to Spice Hill Drive on the report of a fire around 10 p.m. on Aug. 27. Arriving crews found a fire on the back deck of one of the condos that extended into the eaves and was burning actively in the attic, according to officials.
“With an aggressive attack with 2 hand lines and the truck company opening the roof made quick work of this fire and brought it under control relatively quickly,” officials wrote in a post on Facebook. “All Wallingford career and volunteer units were at this fire as well as mutual aid from Meriden for a RIT team. No injuries were reported.”

Officials said a possible cause of the fire was electrical and it is still being investigated by the Wallingford Fire Marshal’s Office.
