Grenade Casing Found In Wallingford
The grenade was discovered Tuesday morning in Wallingford.
WALLINGFORD, CT — A grenade casing was found Tuesday morning in Wallingford, according to multiple reports.
WFSB 3 reports crews discovered the grenade while digging up a curb in the area of Henry Street near Simpson Avenue around 8 a.m.
Wallingford Police and the State Police Bomb Squad responded to the scene and removed the grenade, which was determined to be inert, according to the Meriden-Record Journal.
