Halloween Road Closure Announced In Wallingford
Wallingford Police announce a road closure that will be in effect on Halloween night for the safety of trick-or-treaters.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Due to a public safety concern related to Halloween pedestrian traffic, Wallingford Police announce a road closure that will be in effect during trick-or-treat hours.

North Main Street will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic north of its intersection with North Street and south of its intersection with Cedar Street, North Main Street Extension and Maplewood Avenue from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 31, according to police.

Police also remind residents that “the consumption of any alcoholic beverage within the limits of any park, public highway, parking area, or school property is prohibited. This code also applies to parked vehicles within any of these areas.”
