Lyman Hall Football Coach to Miss Game Due to ‘Personnel Matter’: Report
The Trojans will play on Saturday without their head coach as Wallingford school officials address a "personnel-related" issue.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Lyman Hall football coach Aidan Lynch will not be with the team when it plays on Saturday as Wallingford school officials address a “personnel-related matter” within the football program, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports officials wouldn’t disclose what the issue is, but did say that Lyman Hall’s assistant coaching staff would be intact and guiding the Trojans (0-5) on Saturday when they take on the CREC co-op team in Enfield.
Lynch replaced former coach Rob Marone, who was fired in the middle of the 2014 season for holding an out-of-season practice that Lyman Hall self-reported to the CIAC and was fined. Lynch was named interim coach and was eventually elevated to head coach that off-season.
