Lyman Hall Hires New Football Coach

Former coach Aidan Lynch resigned in December.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A familiar face is coming back to lead the Lyman Hall football team.

Bill Weyrauch, who served as an assistant coach under Chip McKeehan — including four seasons as offensive coordinator — was hired as the Trojans’ new football coach at Monday night’s Board of Education meeting, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports Weyrauch, who is a math teacher at Lyman Hall, resigned as assistant coach after the 2010 season to watch his sons start their football careers at Cheshire High School and now he decided it was time to return to coaching.
