UPDATE: Police Identify Man Foud Dead from Apparent Self-Inflicted Fire in Wallingford
The man was found in the backyard of a home after police say he apparently lit himself on fire.
UPDATE: The man who died as a result of the burns at 186 East Street has been identified as David May, 48, of the same address, according to Lt. Cheryl Bradley.
Bradley said there does not appear to be any foul play involved and the injuries seem to be self-inflicted.

WALLINGFORD, CT – A 48-year-old man died from an apparent self-inflicted fire on East Street Wednesday night, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports emergency crews responded to the home and found the man, who hasn’t been identified, in the backyard and he was severely burned and unresponsive.
