Man Drives Onto Lawn, Gets Arrested On DUI Charges: Wallingford Police

In addition to finding the vehicle on his lawn, the resident reported to police that a passenger was lying on the ground.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Police responded to a Tremper Drive home after a resident reported that a man drove onto his lawn and a car passenger was lying on the ground, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports the driver, 36-year-old Gregory Murray, was arrested and charged with DUI after the incident early last week. Police found around 20 empty “nipper” bottles of whiskey in the car, the Record-Journal reports.

The passenger was transported to the hospital to be treated for intoxication, according to the Record-Journal.
