This cat, Mr. B, a black longhaired neutered male cat with brown on his underside, may have been taken from his neighborhood this past Friday, March 17th. He lives on Quinnipiac Street and spends most of his time inside with his family, but will only go to the bathroom outside and enjoys hanging out in the fresh air during the day. He spends every night at home with a family who loves him dearly.

He was picked up on Washington Street on Friday morning and dropped off at the shelter by a good samaritan who hadn't seen him in the area before and assumed he was a stray. We determined that he was a healthy, neutered cat in beautiful condition and, due to our ringworm issue, promptly returned him to the exact location where he was found. (PLEASE NOTE - we DO NOT take in presumed "stray" cats unless there's a reason for us to, i.e. sick, injured, pregnant, etc! Healthy cats in good condition most likely live in the neighborhoods where they are sighted! Whether you/we agree with it or not, many people have indoor/outdoor cats!) However, things had already been posted about the cat needing a place to go on a couple of Facebook groups, and also about Animal Control returning Mr. B to where the good sam had found him. Several people made comments about going to the neighborhood to pick him up and "adopt" him, etc., and, unfortunately, Mr. B never made it home that night and has not been seen since.

Mr. B's family is extremely upset! He has three young children who adore him and are incredibly distraught by his disappearance. His biological sister, Candy, who he has never been apart from a day in his life is extremely depressed without him.

He is very much loved and is terribly, terribly missed!
