New Basketball Coach Named At Sheehan High In Wallingford
The new coach succeeds longtime boys basketball coach Joe Gaetano, who recently retired after guiding the Titans for 27 years.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Former Sheehan boys basketball player John Wodatch has been named the program’s new head coach, succeeding longtime coach Joe Gaetano.
Gaetano announced his retirement in early November after guiding the Titans for 27 years.
Wodatch, 28, was an assistant coach under Gaetano for seven years, according to the Record-Journal.

GameTimeCT.com reports the rest of the coaching staff will remain intact, with P.J. Grant and Shante Bacote both returning. Wodatch is also a math teacher at Sheehan, along with being the head girls tennis coach.
