New Elementary School Principal Hired In Wallingford
The Wallingford Board of Education recently appointed the new principal.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Eric Carbone, who served as Dag Hammarskjold Middle School’s assistant principal from 2010 to 2012, has been hired as the new principal at Mary G. Fritz Elementary School in Wallingford, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Carbone, who begins his new job July 1 with a starting salary of $146,821, had been the principal at Peck Place School in Orange since 2012. He replaces Mary Poisson, who is stepping down at the end of the school year to take an administrative position in Glastonbury.
