Kiely started in the district as a first-grade teacher at Yalesville School and most recently served as an interventionist at Moses Y. Beach.
In addition to her elementary experience, Kiely holds certifications and expertise in Early Childhood Special Education and School Administration, according to Assistant Superintendent Cindy Lavalette.
“Taking on multiple leadership roles, Ms. Kiely chairs the district teacher/administrator evaluation committee, is an active member of the District Leadership Team, and has helped frame curriculum,” Lavalette said in an email to the Stevens community. “Ms. Kiely's positive energy, enthusiasm for helping students and teachers learn, and commitment to including families as partners in their child's education will make her an outstanding leader of Stevens School.”
