Northeast Breadmaker Calise Bakery Opens New Facility in Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT - Rhode Island-based Calise Bakery has opened a distribution center in Wallingford, the company's first facility in Connecticut.

The company, which supplies bread and baked goods to food stores throughout New England and as far south as Virginia, looked at several locations in Connecticut before deciding on Wallingford, reports the Record-Journal.

Located on North Cherry Street Extension, the new Wallingford location will receive products from the company's Rhode Island bakery before distributing them in the state and beyond.
