WALLINGFORD, CT — O’Reilly Auto Parts bought a century-old two-story home on South Colony Road for $750,000 to build its new store in Wallingford, according to realtors.

The seller was represented by Attorney Paul Kaplan from New Haven.
The Wallingford Planning and Zoning Commission approved plans for the new O’Reilly Auto Parts store earlier this year. The 7,225-square-foot store will be located next to Walgreens on Route 5 in Wallingford, the Record-Journal previously reported.
Messore was also the sole broker in the sale of 64 & 78 Pulaski Highway in Ansonia. The more than 27-acre lot was purchased by Fortitude Capital, LLC for $1.15 million. The seller, Peter Overchuk and Family, was represented by Attorney’s Kevin J. Curseaden and Joy Topazian Moore with Curseaden & Moore, LLC. The buyer was represented by Attorney Michael Hanna with Day Pitney, LLP.
Gary Bellard was the sole broker in the sale of 235 Boston Post Road in Orange; a 1.6 +/-acre lot formerly used as a trailer park was purchased by Racebrook Medical Center, LLC for $1.35 million. The buyer will be building a two-story medical office building, according to the news release.
The seller was Larsens Landing, LLC.
“These sales demonstrate the demand for raw land,” Richetelli said in the news release. “With the scarcity of inventory for buildings, users and developers are actively seeking sites to build on.”
