Obituary: Alexander Paul Comforte, 24, of Wallingford

Alexander Paul Comforte, 24, of Wallingford, died, suddenly Monday, September 19, 2016.

He was born in Meriden, January 31, 1992, the beloved son of Gino and Paula (Vocola) Comforte and had been a lifelong Wallingford resident. He graduated from Mark T. Sheehan High School in 2010 and was a parishioner of Church of the Resurrection.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Janice Vocola; his paternal grandparents, Anthony and Madeline Comforte; his girlfriend, Courtney Barbarito; his aunts and uncles, Patricia Milano, Michele Toussaint, Nicola and Bob Minkwitz, and Anthony and Judi Comforte III; and his cousins, John and Paul Mocadlo, Patrick, Maria and William Milano, Andrew, Simon, and Catherine Beltz, and Elijah and Delane Toussaint. He was predeceased by his brother, Edward Comforte; his maternal grandfather, Paul Vocola; and his cousin, Michael Milano.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St., Ext., Wallingford, Friday, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9 a.m. directly at Church of the Resurrection. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Rd., Wallingford, CT 06492.
