Obituary: Barbara Ann Bruno Pawlak, 71, of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Barbara Ann Bruno Pawlak, age 71, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 23, 2020, at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

She was born November 12, 1949 in Bridgeport to the late Carmen and Philomena Bruno. She was the devoted sister of Elaine Bruno Fay, and the loving mother of Stephen and Stephanie.

She was a 1968 graduate of Central High School. Barbara then went on to own her successful dance studios, Jazz It Up and Jazz-N-Motion Studio of Dance.

Barbara had a lasting impression on all of her students, with her unforgettable talent and passion for dance.

She was known for her “spunk,” consistent positivity, and energy throughout life.

Barbara loved spending her free time making memories alongside her family and friends that she valued so dearly. She loved cooking and entertaining especially during holidays.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie; her son, Stephen; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Her family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, from 9 am to 10 am in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext. Interment will be private at St. Michael Cemetery in Stratford.
