Christopher Rosa, 51, of Wallingford, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015.

Chris was born July 28, 1963, in Waterbury, son of the late Carlo F. and Laura J. (Sparano) Rosa. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, held his A.S. Degree from Naugatuck Valley Community College, and his B.S. and his M.I.S. from Central Connecticut State University. He worked as a senior level IT leader and consultant for Pfizer, Inc. for many years. Chris volunteered at his local YMCA soup kitchen and will be remembered for the many favors he did for all who knew him. He was a gifted musician and drummer and enjoyed carpentry and woodworking.

Chris is survived by his daughters Erin Rosa and Elise Rosa, both of Meriden, his brother Carl Rosa and his wife Sandra of Waterbury, his sisters Anita Rosa of Waterbury and Charlotte Scaviola and her husband Michael of Prospect; his aunts Ruth Hale, Lena Sparano and Adeline Costa and his uncles William Sparano, Richard Sparano and his wife Lois and Anthony Rosa. He also leaves his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Rosa, Andrew Rosa, Michael Scaviola and Laura Scaviola as well as many cousins, friends and his beloved dog Chayse.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 9:00am from Maiorano Funeral Home, 95 Willow St. to St. Michael’s Church for a Mass at 10:00am. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 4:00-7:00pm.
