Christy was a sassy and fun-loving mother and grandmother with a huge heart. She added spark to all the family events.
WALLINGFORD, CT — On Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019, Christy Nuzzo, loving mother and grandmother passed away in New Haven, at the age of 56. Christy was born on Dec. 18, 1962. Christy was born in New Haven to Muriel Buzzanco and the late Pasquale Buzzanco. She resided in Wallingford.
Christy was a homemaker who loved to cook and spend time with her children, grandchildren, best friend Kathy and the love of her life Chichi the chihuahua. Christy was a sassy and fun-loving mother and grandmother with a huge heart. Christy added spark to all the family events.
Christy is survived by her mother, Muriel Buzzanco, children Michael (Christine) Doheny, Joseph Pappacoda, Chasity Young, and John Crisanti, and grandchildren Faith, Alexa, Michael, and Aiden Doheny and Matteo Adamo. Services will be held at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home at 1300 Dixwell Avenue on Sunday, Aug. 18 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
