Obituary: Claudia Ferrara, 68, of Wallingford

Claudia Ferrara of Wallingford, Connecticut, born on January 21, 1950 in Brooklyn New York, passed away suddenly at age 68 on October 16, 2018 in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She graduated from Southern Ct State University and The University of CT for graduate school. She was the Director of Social Work at Midstate Medical Center for 37 years until retiring in 2013.

Claudia was the beloved wife of Joseph Ferrara for 48 years and is survived by her daughter Lauren and her significant other Matt, and her sister Barbara White and her husband Christopher. She also leaves behind her beloved cats, Andy & Scooter. Those who wish to donate may do so at North Myrtle Beach Animal Shelter.

Memorial service will be held November 17, 2 p.m. at Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492.
