Obituary: Coralee Ann Reichelt, 82, of Wallingford

Coralee Ann Reichelt, 82, of Wallingford, loving wife of William Reichelt, mother and grandmother, peacefully passed away with her family at her side on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Born in Norfolk, VA, January 6, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Captain Thomas H. and Esther Copeman.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William, sons William and wife Shannon, Robert and wife Katrina, David and wife Elenna and James and wife Stacey and John; 11 grandchildren; Angela, William, David, Christopher, Mila, Cori, Alexandra, Melaney, Jake, Samuel, Aleksander and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Coralee had a variety of interests and jobs; she worked for the India Embassy in Washington, D.C.; and owned her own business as a tax consultant for over 30 years. A dignified, competitive, feisty, and caring woman, Coralee was also an avid golf enthusiast. She enjoyed her time living on the course and golfing with family and friends, pointing out her 8 hole in ones with a smile as she cheered her loved ones on to also knock it into the hole.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Resurrection in Wallingford. A visitation with Coralee’s family will be held in the church prior to mass beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to Gaylord Hospital Specialty Healthcare, P. O. Box 400, Gaylord Farms Road, Wallingford, CT. 06492.
