David A. Ruiz, 36, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

David was born in Meriden, January 27, 1981, the loving son of Cindy Fountain of Wallingford and Jose L. Ruiz of Florida.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three children Brayden J. Ruiz, Jordan M. Ruiz, and Lilliana M. Ruiz; two sisters Holly Ruiz, Ashley Johnson; his brother John R. Petruccelli; several aunts; uncles; cousins; his niece Madison A. Nemec; and two nephews Maxwell C. Nemec and Aiden R. Johnson.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Sunday, June 4, 2017, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of David may be sent to the American Red Cross CT.
