Grace patriotically supported her country while working as a teenager at the Charlestown Navy Yard during World War II.
After the passing of her husband in 1995, she became involved with the Wallingford Senior Center which became her home away from home. It was there that she actively took leadership roles, took advantage of many travel opportunities to faraway places, and visited the Senior Center daily. During her last year at the Senior Center, the Memory Lane program served her very well with kindness and compassion.
