Obituary: Gregory W. Doyle, 43, of Wallingford

Gregory W. Doyle, 43, of Wallingford, died Saturday, October 19, 2019, after a short, but courageous, battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Amy (Menard) Doyle for 21 years.

He was born in Huntington, NY, July 9, 1976. He graduated from John Overton High School and Quinnipiac University, became a CPA and most recently worked as a Controller at the Yale School of Medicine. He was an avid Star Wars fan and a second-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do. He loved going to the movies, reading comics and just hanging out with his family at home.

In addition to his wife Amy, he is survived by his children, Colin Doyle and Clarissa Doyle; his mother and stepfather, Joan and Gary R. Stone of Nashville, TN; his mother and father-in-law, Michel and Kathleen Menard of Wallingford; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Kari and Stephen Mik, and Jamie and Tom Lawson; many nieces and nephews, and his karate family at Institute of Martial Arts Wallingford. He was predeceased by his father, Gerard Doyle.
