John, who retired after 33 years from the state DOT, loved golf, football, the New York Yankees and winters in Myrtle Beach.

John Peter Ludovico, 72, of Wallingford, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 29, 2017. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Pamela of 49 years, daughters Michele Dempsey and Melissa (Douglas) Hick; his loving grandchildren Alison Dempsey, Colby and Katelyn Hick; his sisters Mary (Thomas) Kotulski and Barbara (David) Hussong; sister-in-law Sandra Glade Halloran, many nieces and nephews.
John was born in New Haven on November 12, 1944; son of the late Peter and Mary Docknovich Ludovico and retired after 33 years from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation. Enjoying 17 years of retirement, he loved golf, football, the New York Yankees and winters in Myrtle Beach.
