Obituary: Joyce L. Rondeau, 85, of Wallingford

Joyce Lembree Rondeau, 85, of Wallingford, formerly of North Haven, died Friday, February 10, 2017, at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Rondeau.

She was born October 19, 1931, a daughter of the late Albert and Catherine (Smythe) Lembree and was raised in Needham, MA. Joyce had been employed by the Wallingford Board of Education having taught at many elementary schools in town before her retirement.

She is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law with whom she resided, Michele and John Cislo of Wallingford; her cherished granddaughter Nicole Cislo who meant everything to her; her sister, Joan (Mrs. Jay) Thomas Needham, MA; her brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Michele Lembree of Cape Cod; and several nieces and nephews.

At her request services will be private. Joyce had a special love of all animals. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to an animal charity of one’s choice.
