Obituary: Julius Kondracki, 88, of Wallingford

Julius Kondracki, 88, of Wallingford, passed away on September 30th, 2017. Julius was born on May 24th, 1929, son of the late Julius and Sophie Kondracki.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years Margaret; his son Steven, and wife Nancy, of Vermont, his son, Gary, and wife Diane, of Wallingford; his granddaughter Lacey, and her husband Rock, of Georgia; and many members of the extended Kondracki family. He was predeceased by his brothers Charles, Joseph and Paul and his sisters Anna Banack, Mary Warzocha and Kate Matuskiewicz.

Julius was retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation, Wallingford, where he worked for over 25 years. Julius was known by his many friends and family for operating Kondracki Farms with his son Gary. In addition he was very proud of Kondracki Lodging, operated by his son Steven. He was an avid gardener who took pride in his yard and flowers. He was a lifelong resident of Wallingford and will be deeply missed for his smile and compassion for those around him.

There will be no calling hours; a private service and burial is planned.
