Obituary: Lawrence “Pete” Dimitri, 80, of Wallingford
Pete served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Auto Boutique in Wallingford and was a member of the Studebaker Club.
WALLINGFORD, CT - (From From Wallingford Funeral Home) Lawrence “Pete” Dimitri, 80. Of Wallingford, husband of the late Judith (Saunders) Dimitri, passed away January 3, 2021 at LiveWell in Plantsville.
Pete was born in Meriden on June 30, 1940, a son of the late William and Bernice (Fijol) Dimitri
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Auto Boutique in Wallingford for many years.

Pete was passionate about vintage cars and was a longtime member of the Studebaker Club.
He was also an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles football team.

Pete is survived by his daughter, Deborah Ann Dimitri of Middletown; and his trusted neighbor and friend, Carol Meade of Wallingford.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on January 11, 2021 at 10 am at State Veteran’s Cemetery in Middletown. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext. Wallingford.
