Obituary: Marie A. Ramos, 76, of Wallingford

Marie worked in the IT department for the State of Connecticut and also tutored in the New Haven school system for many years.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Marie A. Ramos, 76, of Wallingford, passed away December 8, 2020 at MidSate Medical Center in Meriden.

She was born in New Haven on November 10, 1944, a daughter of the late William and Mary (Halloran) Wrinn.

As a young woman she tutored in New Haven Elementary schools. She also taught classes in English and Math to foreign speaking students. She had graduated Magna cum laude from Gateway community college.

She had worked for Alderman Hall furniture in the office and Kleban Corporation as the IT manager.

She was retired from the IT department at the State of Connecticut, Division of Criminal Justice - Office of the Chief State's Attorney.

She is survived by her son, Francis Ramos Jr. of Florida; her daughters, Noleen Magliochetti Eddis of Tennessee, Patricia Drury and her husband, Francis, of Wallingford; her grandchildren, Ashley Tapley, Colleen and Kyle Drury; and her great granddaughter, Amelia Tapley.

She was predeceased by her brother, William M. Wrinn 3rd. She also leaves her fur babies Annie and Holly who were her little loves and always kept her company.

Also, many friends and relatives.

Marie’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., Wallingford on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 2 pm until 4 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 10 a.m. directly at Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford.
