WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Mary Anne (McCullough) Heidgerd, 82, of Yalesville, wife of the late Robert Heidgerd, passed away peacefully August 12, 2021 at The CT Hospice in Branford. She was born in Queens, NY on March 22, 1939 daughter of the late Walter and Julia McCullough.
After achieving a degree in Bachelors of Education from New Paltz University and a brief stint in education, Mrs. Heidgerd taught dance classes out of her family home for over 20 years, loving every one of the students who came through her house. Many of her dance students were like daughters to her, and she cherished ongoing relationships with several of them over her lifetime.
Her cats, gardening, tag sales, crafting, storytelling, and family time were the ways that she most recently spent her free time.
