Obituary: Mary Diehl, 84, of Wallingford
Mary was the organist for the Northford Congregational Church and the Evangelical and Reform Church of Christ in Wallingford.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From B.C. Bailey Funeral Home) Mary Diehl, 84, beloved Mother and Wife, was called to her eternal resting place on December 11, 2020 after a brief illness.
She entered this world on July 24, 1936 in New Haven, CT, born to Edwin and Mary Kowalski. She is survived by her husband Rev. Dr. Richard Diehl, son David Whitney, daughter Susan Miles, son Daniel Whitney, grandchildren Lisa and Owen, great grandchildren Harmony and Sabrynna.
She is predeceased by husband of 36 years Frank Whitney, grandson Jason Whitney, brother John Kowalski and several dear friends.

Mary was the organist for Northford Congregational Church for many years and then several more at Evangelical and Reform Church of Christ in Wallingford.
Her greatest joys beside her family were travelling, crafting, and reading mystery novels.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 19th at 10:00am at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street, Wallingford, CT.
Calling hours will be on Friday, December 18th from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at the funeral home.
