Obituary: Melissa Laura Vendetto, 31, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Melissa Laura Vendetto, 31, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Haven on February 26, 1990; a daughter of Mark and Mary (Foley) Vendetto.

Melissa grew up in Wallingford and graduated from the ACES program in 2011. She was a communicant of Church of the Resurrection. After ACES, she attended the adult services program at ARC of Greater New Haven located in North Haven.

Melissa loved listening to her music, being with her family and swimming in the pool during the summer months.

In addition to her parents, Melissa is survived by her sisters, Margaret and Moira Vendetto, both of Wallingford; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 10:30 a.m. directly at Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Rd., Wallingford. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home.
