Obituary: Michael Patrick Bowen, 37, of Wallingford

Michael Patrick Bowen, "Mikey," 37, of Wallingford, (formerly of West Haven and Milford), passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019. Mike was born in Milford on March 17, 1982 to Helen Ramos and the late Randy Bowen.

Mike was always a loving, funny, and adventurous person. As a self-proclaimed survivalist, he enjoyed nature to the fullest. Whether hiking the Oregon Trail or camping in his backyard, Michael always found an opportunity to learn, teach, or master a new survival skill.

Michael is survived by his beloved mother Helen, a son, Michael, his two brothers Charles, and John, and two sisters, Lisa, and Tina. Mike also leaves behind his Uncle Tommy & Aunt Carol, three nephews; Ronald, Tyler, and Josh, seven nieces; Ariana, Jasmin, Rhea, Nicole, Taylor, Brianna, and Piper, and 12 cousins, Krissy, Rachel, Curtis, Melissa, Dawn, Larry, Kelly, Daniel, Allen, Alisha, Paige, and Casey. Michael was predeceased by his father Randy Bowen.
