Obituary: Michael Saul, 81, of Wallingford

Michael Saul, 81, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, April 29, 2020. He was the husband of the late Patricia Dichkewich Saul.

Michael was born in Hartford June 29, 1938, a son of the late George and Eileen Lewis Saul. He attended UConn and started his early career as a News Reporter for the New Haven Register and later worked as a Fire Truck Salesperson at Bahr Sales and Service in Wallingford. Michael was a longtime volunteer firefighter in Yalesville and had ascended to the rank of Fire Chief before his retirement and was a lifelong ham radio enthusiast

Michael is survived by his son Tom Saul and his wife Kathy of Wallingford; his daughters Vicky Marden and her husband Dennis of Durham, and Robin White-Diamondstone and her husband Aaron of Marlboro, VT; and his grandchildren Aubrey and Peter Saul and Brian, Mandy, and Karl White.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
