Obituary: Michael William Fink, 66, of Wallingford
Michael, a proud father, known for his cheerful demeanor and laughter, worked in the food and manufacturing industry for many years.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Michael William Fink, 66, of Wallingford, passed away unexpectedly January 12, 2021 at his home.
He was born in Hartford on December 23, 1954, a son of the late William and Frances (Marenholtz) Fink.
He worked for many years in both the food and manufacturing industries, most recently in quality control. Mike, as he was known by all, was quick with a smile and comments that were equally endearing and irreverent.

If Mike was nearby, you would hear laughter and the mood would be cheerful. Mike’s true passion was cooking large amounts of wonderful food and feeding everyone, including giving large containers to all to take home.
Mike was deeply proud of his daughter Megan, was honored to be her Dad, and all that knew him, knew she was his heart.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Megan Fink; his sisters, Karen Fink Kupferberg and her husband, Lenn, and Barbara Fink Matez; his nieces, Sarah Matez Driscoll, Ali Matez and Beth Kupferberg Barnes; his nephew, David Kupferberg; and his grand nephews, Jayden, Caleb, and Brooks, and his grandniece, Blake.
A graveside service will be held at St. James Cemetery in Glastonbury at a later date. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., Wallingford.
