WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Robert Blynn Hughes, 65, of Wallingford, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021, at his home.
He was born in Lowell, MA, December 7, 1955, a son of the late Blynn and Lucille (Nardelli) Hughes.
He graduated from Quinnipiac College in 1982 with a Bachelors Degree in History.

He worked diligently as a retail store manager.
Robert was a thoughtful, intelligent and articulate man who was passionate about politics and history.

He helped others unceasingly and relished in watching his children succeed.
He is survived by his two sons, Nicholas Hughes and Trevor Hughes of Norwich and his siblings, Patricia Hughes and Charles Hughes.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home.
