Obituary: Stanella “Stel” (Kaster) Gould, 65, of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Stanella “Stel” (Kaster) Gould, 65, of Wallingford died unexpectedly at Yale New Haven Hospital on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. She was the devoted wife of Dennis Gould. She was born September 28, 1954 in Honolulu, Hawaii and was the daughter of the late Stanley Kaster and Eloise (Meyer) Kaster.

She graduated from Central High School in Omaha Nebraska, class of 1972.

Always embracing her Hawaiian roots, Stel was a free spirit that enjoyed the peace of nature and animals. She especially adored her cat Jazzy.

In addition to her husband, Stel is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Powers (Robert), of Omaha. She leaves behind many friends.

Stel will be remembered as a beloved wife, loving sister, a dear friend and a trusted neighbor. Stel was effortlessly herself, and the world loved her for it.

A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later time.
