He attended and graduated Chelsea High School.

He played soccer and basketball while attending. It was also in high school where he met who would become his best friend for life, Larry Ryder.

Larry would also be responsible for a trip to CT, a trip that led Tim to the love of his life, Maureen.

What started out as puppy love soon led into a love that would draw a man to settle in Connecticut and find work at Choate Rosemary Hall.

He then spent 25+ years working at the school as a groundskeeper. A perfect job for a man that enjoyed the outdoors.

Tim was an extremely hard-working man, a trait he instilled in his children.

Tim was known to go above and beyond when it came to helping faculty get plowed out in the winter. So much that he would accumulate bottles of wine from said faculty, even though he was not a wine drinker.

When Tim was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his children, as well as coaching Tobin’s soccer team, fishing, playing badminton, company softball, and occasional trips to the casino.

He was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan and also enjoyed rooting for the Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins.

In the later part of his life, Tim would become a grandfather.

Matthew would make him a grandparent first to a beautiful grand-daughter Chloe.

While he missed the opportunity to see her as much as he would have liked, he loved her very much.

Years later, Tobin and Maura would welcome his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grandchildren, Levi, Liam, and Finley.

These children brought him so much joy and much needed laughter at what always seemed like the perfect timing.

We believe if you asked Tim, he would say He lived a fulfilling successful life. He was taken too soon but he was a strong and proud man and that never wavered.

He is no longer here with us, but just like he cruised with his wife, he will be cruising with us forever.

Tim’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr Jeremy Kortmansky and team at Smilow Cancer Hospital and suggest that gifts in his memory be sent there: Closer to Free (www.closertofree.com) c/o Office of Development, Yale New N.H.H., PO Box 1849, New Haven, CT 06508-9979.

Due to the COVID pandemic, services will be private at this time. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford.
