Overnight House Fire Extinguished In Wallingford

Crews responded to the fire late Monday night in Wallingford.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Crews extinguished an overnight fire at a home on Cooper Avenue in Wallingford, according to officials. Firefighters responded to 44 Cooper Ave. around 11:30 p.m. on March 9 to find fire showing from the cape-style home, officials said.

Two hose lines were used to get the fire under control and no injuries were reported, according to officials. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Wallingford Fire Marshal’s office.

Officials said the Meriden Fire Department provided assistance and the following units responded: C4 E2 E7 T1 SQ8 E8 M1 HUN.
