The man allegedly fled the scene of an accident while intoxicated, according to Westport police.

A Wallingford man was allegedly four times over the legal limit for alcohol when he was stopped by police in Westport.
George Dyer, 62, turned himself in to Westport police. He allegedly left the scene of an accident on Jan. 21 on Hillspoint Road, according to News 12.
An officer later found him disoriented. His arrest was delayed because police were awaiting the blood-alcohol test, which had a result of .32.
Court records show he was charged with DUI, evading responsibility and improper turn.
