Pharmacist Helps Thwart Prescription Fraud In Wallingford: Report
An alert pharmacist reported a suspicious order that helped prevent a prescription fraud and led to the arrest of a 20-year-old man.
WALLINGFORD, CT — An alert pharmacist reported a suspicious order that helped prevent a prescription fraud and led to the arrest of a 20-year-old Bronx man Friday night at Rite Aid in Wallingford, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Ebrahim Ceesay, of Bronx, New York, was arrested after a pharmacist reported a suspicious order, which included a controlled substance, from someone claiming to be a doctor from New York. The pharmacist found that the same controlled substance had been called in for the patient five times in the last month, according to the Record-Journal.
