UPDATE: Police Identify Body Found in Wallingford

Update, 1 p.m.

NBC Connecticut reports that police have identified the man as Tyler B. Gianakos, 25, of 17 Mallard Court.

A 911 call was made reporting an unresponsive person and responding police and firefighters found Gianakos dead outside his home on Sunday, according to NBC. His body was taken to the medical examiner’s office for evaluation.

Detectives investigating the case are looking to establish the sequence of Gianakos’ activities from Saturday, March 28 at 3 p.m. until his death, according to NBC.

The New Haven Register reports that Gianakos is from North Haven and graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 2011.

Wallingford police are investigating after a 25-year-old man was found dead Sunday on Mallard Court near the Tradition Golf Club, according to the New Haven Register.

The Meriden Record-Journal reports that fire officials said there was an incident involving an unresponsive person on a lawn, but couldn’t provide any details.

Police said foul play isn’t suspected.
