Missing Man Found Dead In Wallingford: UPDATE

Police have been actively searching for the man since Tuesday morning.

UPDATE: A missing man has been found dead, according to multiple reports, including NBC Connecticut. Police had been searching the Tyler Mill Preserve area since Tuesday morning for Luc John Pentz-Tholennar, 30, who was reported missing on Monday.

Pentz-Tholennar's car was found at the Tyler Mill Preserve and State Police assisted Wallingford Police with the search. K-9 units and a helicopter were also used in the search.

Pentz-Tholennar was last seen on Sunday afternoon and the last correspondence was a work email he sent at about 12:30 p.m. on Monday, according to WFSB 3, which also reported that he worked remotely and lived alone.

WALLINGFORD, CT —Wallingford and State Police are searching Tyler Mill Preserve for a missing man, according to multiple reports.

WTNH News 8 reports several police officers and K-9 units were on the scene on Northford Road Tuesday morning searching for a 30-year-old man who was reported missing on Monday night. (To sign up for Wallingford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

Luc-John Pentz-Tholenaar last made contact with his family on Sunday and his car was found near Tyler Mill Preserve, according to WTNH News 8.

His last known communication was a work email sent around 12:30 p.m. Monday

A helicopter, police dogs and officers are part of the search.

Tyler Mill Preserve is closed as authorities search the area, the Meriden Record-Journal reports.
