WALLINGFORD, CT — Police are investigating after a pregnant woman was hit by a car on North Turnpike Road near Parker Farms Road Friday night, WTNH News 8 reports. The woman was with a child, but the child was not injured.
The driver stopped and is cooperating, News 8 reports. The woman was unconscious but later regained consciousness and was taken to an area hospital, NBC Connecticut reports.
