Rare Wallingford History Book Discovered in Thrift Store
The 145-year-old book was in the Meriden Savers store.

An 1870 edition of a book detailing the early history of Wallingford was recently discovered at a Meriden thrift store, the Meriden Record-Journal reported.
Authored by Dr. Charles H.S. Davis, “History of Wallingford, Conn., Meriden & Cheshire” tells the story of Wallingford from its earliest settlers through the mid-1800s. A copy of the book in surprisingly good condition was found at the Savers thrift store by a Stratford resident.
