Road Closure, Parking Bans Announced For Fall Festival In Wallingford

Police announce a road closure, parking bans and one-way streets that will be operating as two-way traffic for Wallingford's fall festival.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Wallingford police announce a road closure and parking prohibitions that will be in effect for all vehicular traffic due to the Celebrate on Center fall festival on Saturday, Oct. 2.

Road Closure:

Center Street, between the intersection of North/South Whittlesey Avenue and North/South Colony Road will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2.

Two-Way Traffic:

The following one-way streets will be operating as two-way traffic, between the intersections of Center Street and Church Street: Meadow Street, William Street, and North Orchard Street.

Parking Prohibitions:

There will be no parking on Center Street between North/South Whittlesey Avenue and North/South Colony Road for the duration of the event.

Additionally, there will be posted parking restrictions on the following streets: North Whittlesey Avenue, South Whittlesey Avenue, North Orchard Street, South Orchard Street, William Street, Meadow Street, and Church Street.

Police remind residents that vehicles parked in violation of this prohibition will be subject to the issuance of a parking ticket and removal by tow truck.
