Road Closures Announced For Seasons Of Celebration In Wallingford
Police announce road closures and parking prohibitions for the celebration and tree lighting ceremony. Read details on the event here.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Wallingford Police announce several road closures and parking prohibitions that will be in effect for all vehicular traffic during the Seasons of Celebration and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Road closures are as follows:
- South Main Street will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic between the intersection of Center Street and the intersection of Prince Street, on Saturday, Dec. 2 between 12 noon and 6 p.m.
- Hall Avenue will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic between the intersection of North Colony Road (Rt. 5) and east of the Amtrak railroad crossing, on Dec. 2 between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

In anticipation of the road closures, there will be no parking on South Main Street between Center Street and Prince Street beginning at 11:30 a.m. and for the duration of the event, and no parking on Hall Avenue east of the Amtrak railroad crossing beginning at 5 p.m. for the duration of the ceremony.
Police remind motorists that vehicles parked in violation of this prohibition will be subject to the issuance of a parking ticket by police and removal by tow truck.
