Road Closures Announced for Upcoming Wallingford Parade
Road closures will be in effect on May 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

From Wallingford Police Department: Due to the 2018 Raoul Lufbery Parade and Monument dedication festivities at the Historical Society, and pursuant to Chapter 216 of the Wallingford Town Code, the following road closure and parking prohibition will be in effect for all vehicular traffic on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM:
Road Closures as follows:
- South Main Street from the intersection of Prince Street to the intersection of Ward Street. (approx.2 hrs)
- South Main Street from the intersection of Center Street to the intersection of Prince Street. (10 mins)
Parking prohibitions will be in effect for the duration of the event along the east side of South Main Street between Prince Street and Ward Street. Vehicles parked in violation of this prohibition will be subject to the issuance of a parking ticket by police, and removal by tow truck.

The section of South Main Street between Center Street and Prince Street will only be closed for a short period of time to allow the parade detail to enter South Main Street, south of Prince Street.
