WALLINGFORD, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Michelle is an ICU Registered Nurse at Mid State
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Michelle is a loving Sister, Daughter, Wife and Auntie. She puts her heart in everything she does. She goes above and beyond for her patients. Her family loves her tremendously and is very proud of the woman she is.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Michelle goes above and beyond for her patients. She fights as if they are her family. During this pandemic she has held people’s hands as they pass and has even used her own cellphone to FaceTime families so they could connect . Whether the call was a good one or one to say a final goodbye. She is fighting COVID-19 fists up. She is a true hero!!!
