Smashburger Coming to Wallingford: Report

Wallingford will become home to the fourth Smashburger location in Connecticut, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports Smashburger is expected to open in June 2016 in the building that will also house Chipotle on North Colony Road in the Lowe’s Plaza. Chick-fil-A and Panera Bread are also in the same plaza.

Smashburger also has locations in Milford, Waterford and Manchester.

According to its website, Smashburger’s vision is “to connect with America’s passion for its favorite food on a local level and in a space where ‘Smashed Fresh, Served Delicious’ means dedication to crafting the best-tasting burger around. Our smashed burgers are always made-to-order, never frozen, smashed and seared to perfection on our grill.”
