Sopranos Actor Attends Movie Premiere In Wallingford

The new movie was filmed entirely in Connecticut.

WALLINGORD, CT — Former Sopranos star Vincent Pastore was among the dignitaries who attended the premiere of Blood Circus, a new movie that was filmed entirely in Connecticut, at Holiday Cinemas in Wallingford on Thursday night, according to the Meriden Record-Journal. Pastore plays a bar owner in the film.

The Record-Journal reports the movie, which was produced by Cromwell native David Gere, was filmed over the course of 18 days at Connecticut locations that include Meriden, Middletown, Portland and Cromwell.

In Blood Circus, a “retired MMA world champion gets caught up in an underground fight club called the ‘Blood Circus’ and must fight to survive and save his family,” according to IMDb.com. Watch the trailer at the end of this story.

Blood Circus also stars Hollywood actor Tom Sizemore, who has had major roles in Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, True Romance and many others, and Milford native Christy Carlson Romano (the voice of Disney’s Kim Possible).

The Record-Journal reports Blood Circus will have a limited theatrical release and a worldwide release on major digital platforms and on DVD.
