Spring Brush Pickup Details Announced In Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — The Wallingford Department of Public Works will begin spring brush only pick up on Monday, April 16, for the public streets an all sections of town. Residents have been asked to place any materials to be picked up by the curbside no later than Sunday, April 15, according to officials. Read more from the town below:

BRANCHES and TWIGS ONLY will be collected and must meet the following conditions:

No branch more than 4 feet long or 6 inches in diameter will be accepted. Brush must be tied with twine, separately, in small bundles. Branches or brush NOT tied will NOT be picked up.

Items placed at the curb must be light enough for one person to put in a truck.

This is a ONE-TIME ONLY pickup. The Department of Public Works will not go back to any street that has already been picked up. Those residents who miss the pickup may take their brush to the Compost Center on John Street at no charge.

April 1 - November 30

8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Thursday

8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday
